Impact of production methods on supermarket food purchase decisions in the UK 2022
According to a survey carried out in May 2022 in the United Kingdom, if a food product is sustainably farmed it has a large impact on whether or not a respondent would purchase the product, with almost 50 percent of respondents claiming to be influenced by such a claim. Some 35 percent of respondents would be influenced if the name of the farm that the product came from was on the label.
